Winter also comes to SW France.It is short and sharp but can bring minus twenty degrees and frosts that last all day. It leaves our forests silent, but makes it easy to see the way the deer and wild boar have searched for food during the night.

Over Elyn Fryer
I am living and working in a small village on the river Dordogne in the department of the Lot. I paint, usually in water colours, but also guache and oils and get my inspiration from taking photographs on long walks with my dogs. I am becoming increasingly aware of the potential piece of art in all I see. I love ruined agricultural buildings where nature has taken over once again.
