Tours de Merle. Ruined chateau deep in chestnut woods in Correze SW France. A feudal fortress,it was fought over during the 100 years war and then abandoned because of its inaccessibility.

Over Elyn Fryer
I am living and working in a small village on the river Dordogne in the department of the Lot. I paint, usually in water colours, but also guache and oils and get my inspiration from taking photographs on long walks with my dogs. I am becoming increasingly aware of the potential piece of art in all I see. I love ruined agricultural buildings where nature has taken over once again.
