Reviewing Comittee
The Assessment Committee of Exto views each site approved by site-help on 3 aspects: technique and material management, individuality and creativity and expressiveness/artistic value. For the three aforementioned aspects, points are given ranging from 1 (minimum) to 5 (highest). For a review 17 votes are necessary, of which the highest and lowest appraisals are removed. The generated figure is the ranking of the site, this determines the visibility on the homepage of Exto. This ranking is only known by the artist himself and Exto, and not visible to other artists or visitors of a site. After a year and a half a reassessment can be requested.
The total appraisal group changes in composition and consists of around 50 artists who are invited. The Organisation of Appraisers is responsible for inviting artists for the Assessment Committee. The Organisation of Appraisers consists of Agnes Frijlink and Hans Parlevliet.
