Concept idea of Bikkel Artist is to create two completely transparant figureheads (Man and Female) of glass in the maritime centre Loods M and in the centre of Maassluis. To clearly make the connection between Loods M and the city centre of Maassluis. The two glass sculptures will emphasize the maritime theme and they will also be anchor for all cultural activities with themes such as culture, history and art.

Over Bikkel Artist
Bikkel Artist (uit Nederland, geboren op Curaçao) - Het proces van werken van Bikkel is spontaan. Ze werkt met levendige kleuren en sterke vormen. Daarbij speelt licht inval een belangrijke rol. Alles weerspiegelt de warmte van haar geboorteland, Curaçao. Bikkel studeerde in 2002 af met een uitzonderlijk examen, van de Hogeschool van Rotterdam, de Willem de Kooning Academie. De glaskunst en schilderijen van Bikkel bevinden zich in bekende Musea en Private collecties. Zoals museum Voorlinden en The Curacao Museum.
