After a while, treelike habitation units arose in the vast loneliness of the land. These monolithic structures, remnants of a desperate attempt to reclaim life, stood tall amidst the desolation. The world had changed, twisted. Nature had been replaced by these cold, lifeless pillars, and the air was thick with the silence. Shadows played on their surfaces, hinting at the few souls that remained, seeking refuge in the hollow embrace of artificiality.
